Hi Tim, I just had the same problem this w/end although at least I knew the cause (a generous dousing of Sprite on the switches ! ) I took the switch unit out, dis-assembled it and cleaned it thoroughly with IPA. The switch unit clips together but is quite easy to take apart by carefully using watchmaker's screwdrivers or similar tools.
