This is a damaged car. The convertible does suffer some "cowl shake". It is worse when the top is down. However, you ONLY feel it when going around a washboard corner or down a (very) washboard road when alternating bumps get the body moving heavily from left to right. But, in most driving it should feel like any other car. Alignment cannot cause this much trouble. If you want to prove it, ask them to align the car before you give it another test drive. I bet the problem will still be there. I had a (Saab) salesman try to convince me that an NG900 clutch that was incredibly hard to push was that way because "the NG900 uses a manual clutch". Well, all it took was one drive in another NG900 at another dealer to prove him wrong. I don't know if these bozos are lying, or just plain ignorant. I'm tempted to believe the old line "How do you know a car salesman is lying ?" ... "His lips are moving". Bob
