Subject: Help in Saab DEAD Battery & Alternator...



I seem to have a dead alternator and a dead battery
now because of it.  My question is whether if I were to
jump start the car could it make, say, a ten mile trip to
the Saab dealer?  I ask because I'm not sure whether
the car creates its own spark from the coil on start up,
or whether it relies on the battery and/or alternator for
this.
