No, it could just be true. If I understand you correctly, a similar mod has existed for the Volvo 440. It essentially turned the hatchback into a stationwagon by replacing the trunk lid. But be warned, on the Volvo it looked absolutely horrendous, so if it really exists fot the 9-3/900 I don't expect the extension to be looking that great either. Mark
