Yes, that's probably the exact noise. It's most noticeable under light load
as you described, probably as there's little engine or road noise. When I
drive at a constant speed of 70kmp/h, it's at it's loudest, and quite
noticeable.

I can faintly hear it accelerating hard through 70kmp/h and also if I select
3rd or 2nd gear on the auto when decelerating (over-run)

I'm beginning to think it is, although my wife's NG900S is super quiet. That
said, I really think the auto should be as quiet as any other 'luxury' car.
Actually I drove a loan car from SAAB the other day, a Toyota Camry, and the
auto was as quiet as a mouse. Go figure.
