Subject: Towing electrics on a Saab 9-5

Has anyone got any advice about twin socket towing electrics on a 2002 Saab 9-5 Estate? My last tow bar (on a Saab 9000) was fitted by my local dealer who sub-contracted the work to a cowboy. His spur marks were visible around the boot trim and I don't want to risk it again. I know that the 9-5 has a pre-prepared wiring loom socket for a single socket setup but that does not seem to cover an audible or visual indicators-in-use warning which I think is mandatory, do I just fit a buzzer? Secondly, and more important, where does the rest of the wiring attach, do I have to run wires the length of the car or what? Finally, should I fit a single 13 pin socket instead of 12N and 12S? There does not seem to be a reason not to. Thanks
