I remember from a haynes manual that I used to have, that is was possible create your own test harness to display recorded fault codes on the dashboard engine lights. The manual instructed you to wire a switch to ground and wire the open contact to one of the pins on one of the test sockets in the engine compartment. You short the pin to ground momentarily and the dash lights should flash in a certain sequence to represent faults. Does anyone know exactly how to do this?
