I think you'll find that most pumps that say "premium unleaded" are standard 95 octane. You need Super Unleaded 97 or 98 octane. Shell Optimax is about 5p per litre more but sainsburys super unleaded is only 3p per litre more. I went to a BP the other day and super unleaded was 15p a litre more.
