Saab designed the CS models with power seats to operate 1) key in ignition - turned to 'on' or 2) door open. The 2 modes are selected by the door switch. If one mode does not work, the switch is probably dirty. Remove the screw and gently pull the switch out of the door jamb. See if you can clean the contacts. I was able to affect change by twisting and cycling. If that fails, replace the switch. Good luck.
