I have a '01 9-3 Aero, and some time ago I noticed a high whistling wind(?) noise at highway speeds. Usually it starts around 140-150 km/h, depending a little on the wind. My local Saab dealer tested the car and came to a conclusion that the noise comes from a loose wind shield seal. The seal was fixed but the noice was still there. The source of the whistle was not found and the dealer then tested two other 9-3s (without Aero/Viggen body kit), finding out that they were both whistling at 150!! I find this strange because the noice was not always there. Any ideas about the source? Is the only solution to turn up the volume? The whistle is driving (literally) me crazy. -Jussi
