I agree that a space saver is probably the right answer here, but you can go with a 13" rim and have the same or close circumference to a 17" rim. Example 245/40-17 has similar OD to 185/80-13. 77.6 in circ vs. 77.4 in circ or 2 revolutions per mile different...
