Congrats. I got a 93 9000CSET, 5spd, 151k miles a few months ago. My local Saab guru says regular dino oil is fine if you change it at 3-5k miles. He says dino oil tends to leave a varnish that functions like a seal. Synth is high detergent and lead to leaks esp. in a high mileage car that was previously fed on dino which seems to be the consensus. How do you like the car? Mine is the best car I've ever had. I love the smooth ride, gas mileage, (22-32) power heated leather seats, other creature comforts and the turbo's great. Not crazy about the clutch, a little mushy, but I can live with it.
