I have AS3 in my 9-3 Aero, and I'm not a fan of 'house/techno' particularly, but when a track of that nature comes on the radio I find that any heavy basslines are not handled too well by the front door speakers, or maybe by the door covering. That's on fairly low / 'normal' volumes. Note however, in a 9-5 there are more speakers in the setup. (9 rather than 6?) I will ask though, why on earth are you thinking of using it at maximum output? Audio amplifiers are generally not designed to work well at maximum output are they - but in the middle ranges of their output power? Do you like reducing your hearing capacity, and distracting yourself from outside noises (dangerous)? As mentioned many times on this newsgroup, only the Saab CD Player is electronically compatible with the Saab AS2/3 head unit in the 9-3/9-5, you cannot fit one of your choosing. (And yes, when do you get your work done if you drive 4-8 hours a day?)
