My parents are from Benton (US61 & 77), so I have an idea about that part of the country. just make sure that the basics are there. fluid in the transmission, etc. If it is a 5 sp, you are in pretty good stead as they are pretty robust especially with the NA engine. Keep in mind that the auto is not very desirable as it revs pretty high at legal speeds and has a finite life of 100k-150k or so.There have been many which go longer than this, but require pretty regular maintenance. Since the nearest Saab dealer is in StL, I would doubt it on this one. If you are into it, the auto can be swapped out for a 5 sp, but it is more work than I am interested in. Good luck, KeithG "J.
