Subject: Re: Sensonic Clutch

Well, that's that mystery cleared up, then! I find it quite good most of the time, but the main things I don't like are: You can't make a fast start as the revs won't rise much until the clutch is fully engaged, and then the engine's bogged down. This is despite what it says in the manual! It slips the clutch a lot in traffic. In queues, I'd normally leave it in first and let the car pull itself along at idle speed (which most cars do quite nicely, even up minor slopes). The sensonic keeps disengaging the clutch at such low speeds, so I have to add more gas to keep it moving, thus more clutch slip. No throttle 'blip' on down changes. Normally, I'd do this myself, but the larger pedal spacing makes it impossible for me to heel-and-toe. Maybe I just need to try harder? Whilst I don't want to get rid of it just yet, I doubt I'd buy another in a hurry.
