Here's my solution: When you turn on the key, the fuel pump will run for only a short time, and then will stop because control systems know that there's no spark present. Because of this, you'll have to do this repeatedly, or jumper out the contacts on the relay that control this. (It's a safety feature to turn off the fuel pump if the engine dies, such as during an accident). After a few cycles of this, you should have fuel back into the system, and that may be the only problem you have.
