I have a slow AC leak in my 1996 900SE. The dealer has twice tried to find the leak by charging the system with freon containing dye, and then looking for the leak with a special light. To date, these efforts have been unsuccessful. I asked at the dealers whether there was some component of the AC system that was particularly susceptible to developing leaks. However, the service manager said the leak could be in several locations. Does anyone know anything about this? It appears from consumer surveys that the AC system is one of the Saab weak points. I have a strong feeling that this AC system must have some point at which leaks typically develop.
