Dave: I don't know if this possibility would meet the 360deg visibility spec., but here in Canada, many police depts. use a strobe light mounted in each headlight, and each tail light - clean, no drag penalty, no appearance alteration. I don't know what the modification is, but I'd be surprised if it isn't US technology. If interested let me know, I'll try to find out. Perhaps the wrap around turn signal might be a suitable location to ensure side visibility, especially from the front? All the best Guy > The Wisconsin state laws for emergency vehicle lighting are quite clear (and simply written, oddly enough!), in that the lights are to be red, or red/white, flashing, and visible from 360 degrees around the car.
