Especially on roads in >>WA; they haven't been cared for in twenty odd years. ;o) You may wish to look at the front end components such as the steering links, ball joints, pittman arms, etc. If those become worn, it can lead to 'wandering' of the front end. It doesn't take much either to cause those symptoms. Have a reputable alignment inspect it. Cheers.
