I need to get another Saab. Can't decide between the classic or an early new shape. I'm looking for a bottom of the range hatch 3d or 5d model - just the 16v injection or equivalent, but would prefer a sunroof. My priorities are structural strength and survivability in the case of an accident (had one not my fault - want to survive another!) , and also minimum maintenance or as low as possible, so good mechanicals And of course rust resistance if there was any difference between the models in steel used or finishing. My previous Saab turbo wasn't cheap to maintain so I'm going with a non-turbo this time. I'd be very grateful for some good feedback - I have to make a move soon.
