True enough. It may have spark, yet the signal may not be getting to the ECU for it to turn on the fuel pump. Have you tried to jump the fuel (pin 30 to 87b or 87, I forget which) pump relay? If this allows it to start, then try swapping the relays ECU to Fuel Pump (or use a known good one) and report back.
