Sounds like a headgasket going away to me. Tune in to Quasimotor.com 9000 webpabe on the web, he discusses use of Barsleaks to cure ills in the 9000, both after the fact and in prevention mode. 2 vulverable places mentioned: headgaskets and heatercores, both helped with this application.
