Oh well: my experience was slightly different from yours... Let me tell you first i have a 9-3 2.2TiD and i drove a 9-5 3.0TiDV6 for a day, as a courtesy car. I found it very comfortable and easy to drive; once the turbo comes in, it accelerates very quickly; it was a rainy day and in 1st and 2nd gear, the ASP came on! But while the turbo is not there (till 1900 rpm?) it is too slow. About the gasoil consumption, i found it very high for the kind of driving it allows... Another thing: you hardly hear the engine noise while yu are driving; too silent for me, i guess...
