Subject: A SAAB 9000 for $1000-$1500?



Hi!

I am thinking of  buying my first car and it may be a Saab 9000 CD -88 - -90
for about $1000-$1500 and with approximately 170 000- 22 000 km.

Question: Is it likely that the car will be intact and continue to start
every day?=) because if something stops working I guess it is likley that it
would cost more to fix than buying another car...lol!

Is a 10 year old Saab 9000 (I havenĄt decided if I shall go for the tubro
yet...) a good car as a first car? IĄve heard that it have some problems
with the gearbox? What things are _very_ expensive to get fixed?
