I've used Mobil 1 fully synth (0W-40 and 5W-50) on all my three Saab's - '78 99L with 350.000+ km's, '85 900 T16 with 240.000+ km's and my current '92 9000 CS 2,3I now at 270.000 km. I've NEVER had any of my Saab leak oil and I've used fully synth, not knowing what any previous owner used! Actually the 99 used 15W-40 mineral before I bought it. ::: Brand: Mobil 1 Rally Formula. :: :: Well, that's one brand, yes. Yes it is and I've VERY good experiences with this oil. And Saab has actually used the Mobil 1 0W-40 fully synth on all Saab's leaving the factory, the last 3-4 years! Cheers!
