Common problem.on the 9k 1: make sure that you are not using 1157 bulbs for the dual filament bulbs. This is important on the 9k and ng90/9^3 because you will melt the brake light red cover unless you use the euro style dual filament bulbs. 2) false pictogram issues are usually traceable to mismatched bulb impedance. Replace them in pairs for best results. Also make sure that the contacts are clean. I use a little grease on the pins just to make sure.
