I know that, when it comes to automobiles, the Swedish motto is "you can never be TOO safety conscious." (though this doesn't really explain the viggen torque steer...) I have a Viggen convertible, and love putting the top down, but HATE having to sit there and hold the button while the thing goes down. I was told that this is so that you can stop it should something get in the way. Has anyone managed to make theirs "flip and forget"? I would be happy if it were that way on the way down only...you have to wait anyway when you put it up so you can latch it. I saw an add for a device which does this for the Porsche Boxter and was wondering if anyone has seen a similar device for the saab?
