Admittedly I haven't checked, although just did now and it's fine. That said, I've had the car since new, and at 15,000 km, SAAB replaced the trany because of the whine. I imagine they would have ensured correct levels. The replacement trany had the same noise symptoms since it was installed. Have just had the 30K service and that's when SAAB have said that all the tranys make the noise. I'm seeking opinions here for feedback, to all other 9-3 or 9-5 owners that may have experienced similar symptoms. Thanks > Have you tried synthetic ATF? I haven't.
