Interesting. It's probably cheaper (money usually decides these sort of things) but as I understand it, the current SAAB 2.0-liter engine is very good with emissions. IIRC, when Trionic first came out, they attached the exhaust of an old 2-stroke Saab to the intake of a new Saab. They then measured the emissions of the new Saab. The exhaust from the new Saab was actually lower in certain pollutants than the ambient air in some European city (London, perhaps?). I don't remember the exact details, someone correct me if I'm wrong... Thanks, Jason
