Subject: Problem with '98 Convertible



Yesterday the headlights on my car ('98 convert with about 57K) stopped
working (day time running work as do fog).  At the same time, I noticed that
the "Check Gear Box" and "Check Engine" lights were on.  Thinking about it,
the day before, starting torque was very poor.

Any thoughts?

also, just noticed recent wear marks on the top (two- one on each side,
presumably were the boot covers goes down).  Any easy way to fix.
