This is a common misconception - the difference in length between track rod ends required to throw the wheel off by 10 degrees is minuscule - so small that it could never make a difference to anything else. It's about a turn on each of the track rods. If the wheel was off by say 40 degrees or more, then it would definitely be a good idea to set the tracking first, but for such a small offset it really doesn't matter. -- Grunff
