If it was me, I'd have the alignment checked first and corrected if needed. If you tell them that the wheel is off, they can correct this during the alignment. Let them know that you want it perfect and it should come out close. I wouldn't start moving the steering wheel until I knew the suspension was properly aligned. I used to have a non-Saab that whenever I got it aligned, they'd always have it off a couple of degrees. I am very picky about this so I got very familiar with pulling the wheel in that car :-) Watch out for your airbag. I think you need to disconnect the fuse at the very least ... maybe the battery too. Bob
