I am a bit out of my league here, but in the earlier SAABs (95/96/99) =
the seat covers are attached to the seat frame by a thin metal spoke =
inside a seam, clipped to the side of the frame. The front and rear =
edges of the cover are held in place with steel clips, underneath  the =
seat. I imagine it is not lot different in newer SAABs
