Subject: Confusing Electrical Problem

I am at at a loss in trying to deal with an electrical problem with my 1990 Saab 900. Overnight it went from working normally to I don't know what. While driving if I use my direction indicator and then press on the brake pedal the direction indicator stops working, it works again as soon as I let off the brake pedal. When driving and I only press on the brake pedal the direction indicators in the dash light up though only dimly. When pressing only the brake pedal whether running or not the front marker lights glow again dimly. If in reverse I press on the brake pedal the reverse light turns off until I again let off the brake pedal. With the engine off, if I press on the brake pedal, the oil failure and charging system lights light up in the dash. I can't understand why this is happening. The vehicle wasn't in a accident, no work has been done to it. This just came out of nowhere. Hope somone has some ideas on how to solve this problem. Thanks
