Balance chain seems to be a potential source of failure on earlier 2.3 engines. Replacing the chain and wheels often is recommended. But isn't it actually so that the balance chain could just be removed and everythin should be ok except a little bit more vibration (probably no Harley-Davidson kind of effect as there were plenty of 2.0 B202's without any balance axles). Any experiance on just removing the chain ? br Vesku
