Subject: Re: Checkin SAAB 9000 fuel injectors

Hi yep compression was checked by mechanic and all were okay (don't know the reading). His prognosis was a brocken oil control ring on clylnder 3. I tool the car back and essentially prepared to scrap it, but was hesitant as I had spent a fair ammount on its MOT. The good people on this group suggested it was probably a fuel injection fault and I am know pretty sure they are right. So new injectors are on order from the breakers and fingers crossed that does the trick.
