Walt, off the top of my head... No, the 500 GBP is for a recondition only (bearings & seals) anything else (synchros etc) is extra, as is removal/installation of the box (100 GBP). This is a reasonably representative cost, though there are many more expensive firms such as www.twostroke.co.uk/ who claim to replace a lot more for their price. From non-dealers, a genuine clutch kit for my '91 2.3T Carlsson cost me 110 GBP, a slave cylinder 60GBP last year these were from http://www.neobrothers.co.uk/ (unfortunately they have now taken their prices of the web site) alternatively, but similar prices I get a lot of Saab stuff from http://www.eurocarparts.co.uk/ (very good site) David "Walt Kienzle" <wkienzlenopsam.com> wrote in message news:3da1dcc3$0$1429$272ea4a1nopsam.execpc.com... > I enjoy hearing that someone can have savings like that by investing some > time and effort.
