On older engines, without cats, you can get away with a fair bit of diesel, so say 4 gallons out of 16 or 18 would run a bit smokey, but not too bad. But on a car with a cat, the cat will suffer badly from the large amount of unburnt oil and soot. I would want to drain down first. -- Grunff
