I can't claim to know if the performance is any better but fuel economy has improved by 2-3 mpg+. Don't expect an immediate improvement though, some press reports have said it takes a while for the extra detergents to clean up the ports. I will say though that I have found little difference between Optimax (98.4 RON) and standard UK Super Unleaded (97 RON). Good luck! Lee '97 9000 Aero --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
