Frequent users of this newsgroup know: Many SAABs show many damages. My 9-5 (2 ltr, automatic, 150 hp, Ą97, 45000 mls) shocked me on tuesday with a new version: I got to stop in a blue cloud. A rib-belt of the engine broke and blocked the wheels it should drive, one of the plastic-wheels melted and caused the smoke. The car had to be towed to a service, it was repaired in a day - good service, no doubt - and I had to pay 350 Euro (some 350 $), additional to some 50 Euros of Taxi-cost and 150 Euro of towing. Note - I hate my SAAB. There are several other, little, disturbing mistakes on it I wonĄt talk about - but I want to change it as soon as possible. Wolfgang Berlin
