FWIW, I got the following information from some of OS/2 Warp 4's documentation. It shows the Code Page (CP) and the decimal code value (DCV), along with IBM's proper name for the Code Page. 10nov1998 -- The euro character was added to these codepages:- CP DCV Name 850 213 PC Latin 1 857 213 PC Turkish 1004 128 Windows Extended 1250 128 Windows Latin 2 1251 136 Windows Cyrillic 1252 128 Windows Latin 1 1254 128 Windows Turkish 1257 128 Windows Baltic So, depending which code page you are using, enter one or the other codes via that Alt-key trick I mentioned last time. NB that CP437 does not include the euro. Now that we are thoroughly off-topic for this NG, who's for a chat about (say) fly fishing...? -- Andrew Stephenson
