Hi, the Saab owners who afford to buy (not to lease) a new car do so because not everyone has one. In germany only a few thousand Saabs are sold around the year, but several hundred thousand BMW and horrible enough Mercedes (yes, that car Hitler mostly liked). Living in germany you will enjoy to drive Saab, the first reason is taht you have an "exotic" status, the other drivers are not that intolerant with you, if you want to change the track in trafic jam, the let you (try this with a VW :-)). Then we have this winters with ice and snow ans slippery streets and these BMW with rear wheel drive you have to overtake. But the best thing is, if a BMW or Mercedes drives on the autobahns left track in order to overtake all the others he has an VW or some of these various old cars students like to drive in his front, not driving faster than 120 km/h and an Porsche or Audi in his back. If you come with your Saab and the others (including BMW drivers) see that your car is running faster or just if you like to go faster they get out of your way. I really think this is because Saab seems somehow exotic to the othe drivers. Several year ago it was the same thing with Volvo, but nowadays there are to much of them, especially of these with a "diesel-engine" ( I believe a "diesel-engine" is better placed in a tractor or a lorry). Thats it Axel -- Axel Sch”fer S–hrewald-Wellerode Deutschland (Germany)
