Nokian used to be called Nokia, but they changed their name when the business became so large that they spun off the cellphone and other electronics. Quite possibly the best snow tires available; widely used by the folks who ice-race their Saabs around here, to give you an idea (non-studded, street legal, "drive onto the lake and have fun" type racing). Their summer tires are quite impressive on each of my cars I've had them on - 2-stroke/V4 Saabs (93,95,96,97's), my classic 900T, and now my 9-5. http://www.nokian.com/index_en.html is a good starting point (in English).
