Technically we have gotten rid of leaded petrol. Only 40 garages in the UK sell it, although there is a campaign to make it more widely available for older cars, and some not so old sports cars and bikes, to avoid the mess of adding the lead sustitute. Although if you need a high RON rating, you can still buy 100 and 110 RON leaded (low lead) aviation fuel at private airfields, and it is quite legal to use in a car, as the governments fuel tax and duty has been paid just like normal car pump gas. -- Carl Robson http://www.bouncing-czechs.com
