The sensor is on the back of the transmission, below the throttle body. It a round cylinder about 2 inches tall, is screwed in the top of the transmission and has a wire coming out the top If your car has an automatic transmission, it might be in a slightly different location. The connector is not immediately visible and is probably behind the false bulkhead.
