FWIW:- In San Franciso AFAIK they have a law requiring parked cars also to have their steerable wheels turned into the kerb, such as to send roll-aways into the side and not into mid-road. Good idea, IMHO. (It would have the incidental side benefit of complicating car thieves' lives.) -- Andrew Stephenson
