Actually, the Taurus is dramatically safer than a Saab 900. :) I wouldn't completely disagree with the other posters comment about the Taurus transmission problems though. On the other hand my 2002 Saab 9-3 has already spent a considerable amount of time in the service bay due to defective suspension components, a failed steering rack and replacement of defective interior trim. :(
