Saab invented the Headlamp wash wipe back in 1970. The reason, is rain and dirt can remove 90% of headlamp illumination. Saab's simple yet unique solution was to create a wash and wipe system which later became a legal requirement in many countries. It has also bee adopted by most car manufacturers.
