Subject: Re: front leg room new Saab 9-3?

I test drove one the other day and I can tell you that legroom is not a problem in the front. I am 6'1" and did not have any problems with feeling cramped, etc. behind the wheel. In addition, the footwell seems much less narrow in this version of the 9-3 than in the previous incarnation. I remember test driving the 2001 and feeling like my legs were really confined. In this one there is no such feeling. As far as the driving goes, it was very good, even with the 175hp engine. I cannot wait for the 210hp versions to come out. One thing that takes a little getting used to is the SAHR 2 headrest. It's really there in such a way that you can easily see how helpful it would be in a collision. Good luck to you, Bill RichT wrote: > I just got the brochure for the new 9-3 but there is no diagram of the > internal dimensions of the car. Can anybody tell me what the front legroom > is like?
