Shame about Orca, but glad you got such an excellent deal on the insurance salvage buy back. > > And how are you yourselves now? > > I'm a lot better now - I lost some of October and the whole of November to > "real 'flu", then a chest infection, then a kidney infection ..... > > I'm still a bit weak, but bearing up. I'm hoping it'll be with us again for Christmas. Hopefully the jig won't report anything strange, and it will just be panels and paint, as you say, it still drove straight. Glad the tow truck winch pulled the bonnet and door back into line. > > Jingle bells... > > Jungle bells ... Jingle bells ... Vroom Vroom goes the Saab ... Would be nice, but SWMBO has decreed that the Skoda must stay longer, and I admit after the 420 miles I put on it over the weekend Cheshire-> Norfolk and back, I've fallen in love again with my little rattle box, so the wait won't be too bad. It's a painful love, with minimal bucket seats though, and stiff backs after 100 miles or so, and that I won't miss. Did get past by a lot of Saabs though, especially coming North up the M1, mainly 9-3 and 9-5's but did see a very nice dark coloured Classic 900 Turbo pass me on the A50 when heading down, and I'm sure it was the same one that past me again on the M1 coming North on the way home. I was averaging 75-85 so those Saabs must have really been shifting, can't wait for that day. -- Carl Robson http://www.bouncing-czechs.com
